Field note
Write invalidation before the entry urge
Why market structure review ends with a sentence about being wrong — and how that sentence changes the next trade.
The last ten minutes of a structure review are often quieter than the first. That is when we write the invalidation sentence: the candle or level that means the map is wrong.
Traders skip this because it feels negative. In practice it is protective. When price approaches your idea, the sentence is already on paper, so moving the stop becomes a conscious edit rather than a silent slide.
Bring that sentence to the weekly clinic. If you keep editing it after the fact, the conversation shifts from price to habit — which is still technical analysis training, just aimed at the hand holding the mouse.
